Description
Harriette Brainard discusses her family’s history and the stories of her parents, as well as growing up in the area. She attended Princeton Day School and played several sports. She shares her impressions and enjoyment of Princeton as a young student. She left the area for several years for college and other pursuits, then moved back to the area in the early 1990s and reconnected many of her acquaintances from her childhood. She coached and refereed at Princeton Day School, and opened a farm to table restaurant in Princeton in the late 1990s. She left the area again in 2004 and returned in 2016. She also discusses her recent work on environmental protection and reconnecting with the Princeton community.
