The team responsible for the Voices of Princeton website shares interviews on its website to serve the Princeton community and to contribute to its cultural life. The team strives to ensure that interviews violate neither copyright nor the rights of privacy and publicity of those who share personal information, either their own or that of a third-party distinct from the interviewer and interviewee, through a Voices of Princeton interview. It is also in the interest of the initiative and its partnering organizations, wherever possible, to consider the safety and well being of those whose stories are made available on the Voices of Princeton website.
For these reasons, upon request, a committee of stakeholders can be convened to review whether content available on the Voices of Princeton website should be removed temporarily or permanently and to be restricted exclusively to access at the Historical Society of Princeton’s site. It should be understood that removal from the Voices of Princeton website may not ensure the unavailability of an interview online.
To request that a committee review any of the interviews made available on the Voices of Princeton website, please contact the team at voices@princetonlibrary.org. Include the reason for your request (copyright, privacy, safety, etc.) as well as any other pertinent details. A follow up for further information may be required as well.
