Oral History with Christina Hu

Christina Hu, a Princeton High School (PHS) student, shares that she first heard about COVID-19 early in 2020. It started to seem like a local emergency in the middle of March, when PHS shut down and converted to online learning. Christina speaks about her experiences being at home with her parents and four siblings, saying that she feels isolated from her friends at school. In her time at home, Christina has been learning online and has started journaling and practicing the piano again. She is making an effort to seek out primary sources to understand the pandemic around the world. Christina hopes that in the future the nation can be less divided and that people will continue their efforts to help others in times of crisis. She looks forward to visiting the Princeton Public Library, seeing friends, and shopping for food once it is safe to do so.
