Oral History with Pranav Guhathakurta

Pranav Guhathakurta, a Princeton High School student, remembers hearing news reports out of China in early March regarding the spread of COVID-19. He started to worry about the local situation when there were confirmed cases in the New York area and then in New Jersey. Pranav reflects on the switch to online schooling and staying at home with his family. He notes that he thinks most people do not realize how much they took for granted in their day-to-day lives prior to the disruption caused by the pandemic, and that this crisis has exposed a lot of flaws in our social system. He ends on a hopeful note, expressing the belief that things will get better.
