Oral History with Sophia Lis

Sophia Lis, a sophomore at Princeton High School, shares her experiences of first hearing about COVID-19 in school and then realizing it was serious when her competitive soccer team’s practices were canceled until further notice. Staying at home with her parents, two sisters, and new dog has been a good bonding experience for the family. Sophia’s schooling has switched to virtual classes and she has not been able to see her friends, except at a distance. Her mom is a pediatric doctor and takes many precautions because of her work. To conclude, Sophia reflects on how she has taken the time to practice soccer and develop herself during this pandemic.
