Voices of the 250th

In observance of the U.S. Semiquincentennial in 2026, community members are invited to share their recollections of the U.S. Bicentennial in 1976, their observations on the efforts to observe the 250th locally or beyond Princeton, and their hopes and aspirations for the future of the country. A selection of highlights from the interviews is featured at four listening stations located at the Princeton Public Library, the Historical Society of Princeton, the Arts Council of Princeton, and the Morven Museum and Garden. Further selections will be added as the collection grows through 2026.
