Oral History with Daphne Townsend

Elaine Hogan and Daphne Townsend have both volunteered at Drumthwacket. The pair discusses their positive experiences providing educational tours to children and adults. They share information about how the families of previous owners have donated items over the years, as well as remembrances of the exhibition “Lincoln & Olden: The President & Governor.” Additionally, Daphne and Elaine discuss the history of the house and grounds, including extensive historical information about the contents of the house and the lives of the governors who lived there over time.
