Oral History with Liz Lempert

Liz Lempert, former mayor of Princeton, moved to town in 2002 when her husband secured a job teaching at Princeton University. University NOW Day Nursery (UNOW) made it possible for her to continue to work as a National Public Radio radio producer, and the year she spent on the UNOW board offered her first taste of Princeton politics. She remembers fondly the help and parenting guidance the teachers gave her, her children’s remarkable classmates, and the school’s non-sexist teaching philosophy.
